Here is what I
thought of Jessica Hernandez and the Deltas' EP, “Demons.”
Remember – all scores are out of a possible 10 points.
“Demons” - I
love the tone of Jessica's voice. It makes me want to listen to more
of her songs. The song itself is sexy and intriguing. Hello Jessica,
it is nice to meet you. Score: 8
“Caught Up” -
This rocker has balls – and I like balls. The singer's voice has
that texture that makes me sit up and take notice. Overall a fun song
that I will go back to again. Score: 8
“Big Town” -
I am getting a burlesque feel
from this song. The track is delicious from start to end and
highlights the back up band which is wonderful. Score: 9
“Shadow Boy”
- I liked the dark tone of the
lyrics, but the music was all over the place. I like that Jessica is
not afraid to go dark, but the music must be tighter. Score:
5
“Picture Me
With You (Carnie Threesome)” - The
lyrics and vocals are fun on this track. It also gives about half the
song for the backup band to shine. A good track, but not a great one.
Score: 7
Average Track
Score: 7.4 Would I recommend
this to my friends? Yes. Mainly
due to the fact that this is something different and I like
different.
