Chanté Moore - Moore Is More

Here is what I thought of Chanté Moore's album, “Moore Is More.” Remember – all scores are out of a possible 10 points.

Baby Can I Touch Your Body” - Sultry. Sexy. This quiet storm type of song made me want to touch my body. I guarantee that if you put this song on during sexytime your experience will be enhanced. Score: 8

Talking In My Sleep” - Another sultry slow jam. Chanté's vocals are fantastic and the music hits all the right notes. I am not sure I have the stamina to keep up with all the sexy jams on this album. Score: 9

Alone” - At first I liked the 70's groove with a modern feel and the choice lyrics. But towards the end the track falls apart. Score: 6

Don't Make Me Laugh” - I failed to get on board with this ballad. I can appreciate the emotional realness of the vocals, but the lyrics are substandard. Score: 4

Doctor Doctor” - This dance track never realized its own potential. It started off with a bang but it never went anywhere. Chanté tried her best on the vocals, but the music was a bit annoying and the song is missing any sort of a hook. Score: 4

Mrs. Under, Stood” - This track's arrangement is too minimal. The lyrics are better on this track and the hook is in the chorus, but what this track needs is a sweeping arrangement. Score: 6

On And On” - This is a slamming dance track that just misses the mark due to the understated arrangement – once again. Chanté's voice gives me life and I even like the rapping by Da Brat. But the music does not do the vocals justice. I will however tell certain drag queens about this one. Score: 9

Giving You My Always” - There are angels that walk among us and Chanté's vocals are proof of that. This jam is exactly that from start to finish. Finally – a song where the arrangement keeps up with this gifted singer. Score: 10

Jesus, I Want You” - Decent enough for a religious song. It falls on deaf ears with me, but Chanté's vocals are heavenly. Score: 5

Cry Me A River” - Chanté flexes her jazz vocals on this very sexy track. She ends the album on a high note with a very strong vocal performance. Score: 9

Average Track Score: 7.0 Would I recommend this to my friends? Yes. There is enough good material to warrant a favorable recommendation to my friends.

The Dangerous Summer - Golden Record

Here is what I thought of The Dangerous Summer's album, “Golden Record.” Remember – all scores are out of a possible 10 points.

Catholic Girls” - The first 26 seconds of the song need to go, but otherwise this is a very good angst rock song. I liked the energy and the vocals, but the first 26 seconds is rather pretentious. Score: 7

Sins” - What I like most about this rocker is the passion in the vocals. I am a sucker for emotionally real vocals. I also like the texture of the music. This is a standout track. Score: 9

Drowning” - Wow – the music on this track is bewitching. I like that this band is not all about the vocals, but also about excellent musicianship. Nothing wrong with the vocals, but it was the guitar that is the star of this track. Score: 9

Knives” - Another fun track. Once again the passion of the vocals is what sold me on this one. It almost falls into the filler track category, but those vocals make it fun to hear. Score: 6

Honesty” - I am digging the vibe of this band. It is easy to listen to this kind of music – the vocals are genuine and the music is compelling. Not that they over overly original, but I can spot fake emotions a mile away. This band is pouring their heart and soul into every rocking track. Score: 8

We Will Wait In The Fog” - The lyrics may be too juvenile for my taste, but the music is interesting enough. Are they using some kinds of bells? If so, snaps for that. Score: 7

Miles Apart” - I was hoping this ballad – of sorts – was going to be amazing. But the phrasing of the vocals is quite annoying. I don't think I would go back to this one again. Score: 3

Into The Comfort” - This is why I shouldn't listen to a whole album at one time. The songs all start running together seeing how the musical tone rarely changes. Another decent song, but quickly forgettable. Score: 5

I'm So Pathetic” - The energy is undeniable on this track, but I have heard this all before. Show me some diversity boys! Also, do you think the feedback at the end of the song is cool? Its not. Score: 4

Anchor” - If there is a radio hit on this album, this would be the one. Great energy, fun music and catchy hooks. Score: 9

There are some remixes and acoustic versions of songs on this album, but like Sweet Brown, “ain't nobody got time for that.”

Average Track Score: 6.7 Would I recommend this to my friends? Probably. There are enough gems on this album to warrant a recommendation, but I would like to hear some different things from the boys.

Luke Bryan - Crash My Party

Here is what I thought of Luke Bryan's album, “Crash My Party.” Remember – all scores are out of a possible 10 points.

That's My Kind Of Night” - Hmm. This is the first time I have heard Luke and I have to say I am not impressed. The lyrics come off campy and his vocals seem to be missing something. Score: 5

Beer In The Headlights” - Much better. Lyrics are catchy, music moves along nicely and the vocals are better. This is a sure fire radio hit. Score: 8

Crash My Party” - Not much to gig on this track. I liked the vocal delivery as well as the lyrics. The only point I took off was for using the word “girl” too much. Score: 9

Roller Coaster” - The imagery of this song is not super strong. Luke's vocals are above average, but not outstanding. I will say this – the music had me swaying the whole time. Score: 7

We Run This Town” - This song lacks energy and sparkle. Luke seems bored with his vocals and the whole vibe was just blah. Next. Score: 5

Drink A Beer” - This ballad is brilliant. The song is about losing someone you love. But what the songwriters did was make it non-gender specific so the listener can make it about anyone they lost. That, along with Luke's emotionally real vocals and the tender music make this track a standout. Score: 10

I See You” - Another fantastic track. The music is edgy, the lyrics are compelling and the vocals are impressive. I particularly liked the guitar work on this song. I would love to hear this on the radio. Score: 10

Goodbye Girl” - A very sweet ballad. But for me it is too sweet and too forgettable. I guess he had to put this one on the album for the ladies. Nothing but a filler track. Score: 5

Play It Again” - The musical side of my brain loved the vocals on this track. Luke's voice is heaven and I could listen to this one over and over. The practical side of my brain wasn't buying what Luke was selling. Who sits by the radio waiting for a song to play? Itunes is .99 a track and you can listen to is as much as you want. Score: 8

Blood Brothers” - Meh. Perhaps this one fell on my deaf ears seeing how I don't trust people and don't appreciate what the title represents. The music is OK and Luke's vocals are standard so it is an OK track but not one that made me feel anything. Score: 5

Out Like That” - The lyrics on this one made me laugh out loud – and not in a good way. Specifically, the use of the phrase “drips drops.” C'mon Luke is this the best song you could find? This one is a major miss – when I laugh AT a song it is over. Score: 0

Shut It Down” - Another filler track. Nothing to hear here folks, move it along. This love song bored me and make me want to hit the FF button. Score: 4

Dirt Road Diary” - It isn't often that I feel more butch that the songs I listen to, but here it is. A dirt road diary Luke? Oh my. The lyrics are God awful and the vocals are not much better. What a shame you had to end an otherwise great album with this clunker. Score: 0

Average Track Score: 5.9 Would I recommend this to my friends? Sure. But I will tell them to just ignore the last three songs.

Parmalee - Feels Like Carolina

Here is what I thought of Parmalee's album, “Feels Like Carolina.” Remember – all scores are out of a possible 10 points.

Musta Had A Good Time” - I love when country acts mix in some rock rhythms. The lyrics are catchy and the vocals are fun to hear. Score: 9

Day Drinkin'” - No doubt about it, this is a sweet song, The music is lovely, but the lyrics come off a bit too boring. Score: 6

Move” - The first half of this song got back to rocking – which I like. But the second half of the song loses steam and my interest. Score: 5

Close Your Eyes” - A solid love song. Nice lyrics, mellow melodies, and those vocals that I like make this song a standout. Score: 9

Dance” - I suppose they put this one on to appeal to the younger girls. I mean is there anyone out there that doesn't know a tween enrolled in a dance studio? Unfortunately for me, this comes off as filler. Score: 5

Carolina” - This has radio hit written all over it. Fantastic lyrics and another stellar vocal performance. My favorite song of the album so far. Score: 10

Think You Oughta Know That” - A very enjoyable song. I got lost in the vocals and the music is dreamy, but the ending left me a bit annoyed. Score: 8

Back In The Day” - Another radio hit. But for real boys, are you singing about things back in the day? Aren't you all a bit too young to have a back in the day? Despite that, I did really like this upbeat song – and you will too. Score: 9

My Montgomery” - Nothing wrong with this song – well except the very end. Why not just a fade out? I love songs about hometown pride and this one is very well done. Score: 9

Already Callin' You Mine” - I did not care for the lyrics – they creeped me out. Personally, if some guy was singing this to me I would be all like, “Whoa, whoa whoa.” But the music is catchy and my my butt was shaking for the duration of the song. Score: 5

I'll Bring The Music” - This is what I am talking about. This song rocks and it rolls. I am dying to see this one live in concert. Score: 10

Another Day Gone” - A beautiful song to end the album. Another song I was able to get lost in due to the beautiful music. Score: 10

Average Track Score: 7.9 Would I recommend this to my friends? Hell yes. This album is full of hits and memorable vocals.

Sheryl Crow - Feels Like Home

Here is what I thought of Sheryl Crow's album, “Feels Like Home.” Remember – all scores are out of a possible 10 points.

Shotgun” - This song has swagger. Sheryl combines her pop vocals with country lyrics and rock rhythms – a deadly combination. Great song to kick off the album. Score: 8

Easy” - Let me tell you – this song is easy on the ears. Fantastic lyrics and that signature voice made this song crack the shell on my cold dead heart. Score: 10

Give It To Me” - Excuse me Miss Crow, when did you start kicking ass? No, this is not a rocker, but a gorgeous ballad. Sheryl sings the hell out of the lyrics and her performance impressed me greatly. Score: 10

We Oughta Be Drinkin'” - Attention – we are now entering Snoresville. This is nothing more than filler track. Slow and boring, this track needs to go. Oh, and Sheryl, don't curse – it isn't attractive on you. Score: 5

Callin' Me When I'm Lonely” - This ballad held my attention from beginning to end. Top shelf lyrics and another fantastic vocal performance from Sheryl. I can hear this being played on WIL-FM AND Y98 FM. (Country and Adult Contemporary radio.) Score: 10

Waterproof Mascara” - The writers of this ballad – I'm looking at you Brad Paisley et al – need to stop talking to my therapist. It's like they wrote the soundtrack to my childhood. And you Miss Crow – you need to stop singing to me like you're my mama. This flawless ballad made me go fetal. Score: 10

Crazy Ain't Original” - Oh look – my ticket was punched for a return ticket to Snoresville. Bland lyrics and tiresome music make this track forgettable. Sheryl's vocals sounded as bored as I was during this song. Score: 0

Nobody's Business” - OK, we are back on the road to Hitsville but not quite there yet. A fun and flirty song, I liked the vocals on it and the lyrics are above interesting. Score: 7

Homesick” - Looks like we had to make a pit stop in Ho Hum Heights. This track seems uninspired and lackluster. There were moments that I was like, “Oh here we go” and then they were followed by moments of “Oh that's a pity.” Next. Score: 3

Homecoming Queen” - A beautiful ballad full of brilliant lyrics and emotionally real vocals. I think Miss Brandy Clark had something to do with these lyrics. I am obsessed with Brandy Clark and am so happy to see her join forces with Sheryl. Score: 9

Best Of Times” - I have to be honest – this song really didn't hold my attention. I drifted in and out of the song mainly due to the music and lyrics. This is just middle of the road stuff and I am on a journey to find excellent songs. Score: 4

Stay At Home Mother” - Another gut wrenching ballad in the same vein as “Waterproof Mascara.” This one is as equally sharp and emotionally real. Well done Sheryl – thank you for giving me a soft place to land. Score: 10

Would I recommend this to my friends? For sure. This album has so many high points that it will become a permanent fixture in my CD collection.

Echosmith - Talking Dreams

Here is what I thought of Echosmith's album, “Talking Dreams.” Remember – all scores are out of a possible 10 points.

Come Together” - What a fun song. I liked the music, the vocals, and the whole vibe. This song makes me feel excited to hear more from this band. Score: 8

Let's Love” - Another fun song! This one filled my heart with glee and made me dance like Snoopy – for real. I love the male/female vocals! Score: 10

Cool Kids” - I liked the cool vibe of this song but could have done without the repetitive lyrics. The vocals are nice, but for real kids, write more than a few lyrics. Score: 6

March Into The Sun” - What a delightful song. Catchy, fun to listen to, and it made me giggly. This could be a radio hit if they got rid of the small down beat section in the middle. Score: 8

Come With Me” - I am on the fence about this one. The music is a bit wonky in places and the lyrics left me in a blah mood. Filler track. Score: 5

Bright” - This song is adorable. The lyrics and the vocals are heartfelt. I just don't know if I would ever seek this one out to hear again. Score: 7

Talking Dreams” - I love how this song moves. Great music and fun vocals and most importantly – an impressive 80's vibe. This one is one of my favorites of the album. Score: 9

Tell Her You Love Her” - The main verses are the star of this track – heartfelt and emotionally real. The chorus took me out of the moment – it just went in too much of a different direction. Score: 6

Ran Off In The Night” - Ugh, another repetitive lyric song. I just don't care for these kinds of songs. The only reason I am giving this one some points is because I am obsessed with the lead singer's vocals. Score: 4

Nothing's Wrong” - Um, no. This song bored me. Just hit next. Score: 0

Safest Place” - It happened again. I thought this would be a fantastic radio hit and they put in this downbeat section which took me out my enjoyment zone. Well that and the very ending – kind of pretentious. Score: 6

Surround You” - I love the tenderness of the vocals and the lyrics. The music has some spots that left me cold, but overall a beautiful love song. Score: 7

Up To You” - This is the first of two bonus songs on the album and I think it merits not being called a bonus track. Fun music and excellent vocals make this upbeat track one of my favorites. Score: 9

We're Not Alone” - Another bonus track and another song that is leaps and bounds better than most of the tracks on the album. I wonder whose decision it is to make these bonus tracks. Score: 8

Average Track Score: 6.0 Would I recommend this to my friends? Absolutely. This album is a breath of fresh air.

Five For Fighting - Bookmarks

Here is what I thought of Five For Fighting’s album, “Bookmarks.” Remember – all scores are out of a possible 10 points.

Stand Up” - Wow – way to start off the album with a filler track. Nothing really wrong with this one but it did not command my attention. Next. Score: 5

What If” - I liked the lyrics on this track and the music was interesting, but I am just not that in love with this song. But I will give points for the lyrics – good lyrics are always the way to my heart. Score: 7

Heaven Knows” - This album is growing on me with each track. A lovely song from start to finish, but it still lacks the emotional punch. That said, the lyrics are standout. Score: 7

Down” - For real? C'mon guys – I like a soft sensitive ballad, but this song is just too wimpy even for me. If you are going to go this route, man up just a bit. Score: 3

I Don't Want Your Love” - To me, this song's melody is too reminiscent of “To Make You Feel My Love.” So points off for that. Then there are the wimpy vocals – oh sweet Jesus. This song is a pass. Score: 0

Road To You” - Well, at least this one is original. More filler – nothing special. Score: 4

She's My Girl” - The lyrics on this one made me LOL for real. Did they just form this band for the sole purpose of getting women? Well they didn't form it to rock that is for sure. Score: 0

Symphony Lane” - I liked this track very much. It has depth, interesting melodies, and decent lyrics. It doesn't feel like it belongs on this album due to its interesting nature. Score: 8

You'll Never Change” - At first I thought this would be a radio single – then it all went to hell. The falsetto vocals are a major turnoff and the lyrics are lackluster. What a pity. Score: 2

Your Man” - This is the radio hit off this album. Great music, a fun vocal delivery, and interesting melodies. The only downfall are the lyrics – they made my mangina hurt. Score: 7

The Day I Died” - I totally bought into the emotional realness of this vocal performance. It doesn't matter the lyrics are not all that great, it was the fact that I felt something when I listened to this song. Score: 8

Rebel” - Well at least they ended with something interesting. This track reminded me of Ben Folds Five – it kind of rocked and wasn't wimpy. Score: 7

Average Track Score: 5.3 Would I recommend this to my friends? Hell no. There is just not enough compelling material on this album to garner a recommendation.

Sponge - Stop The Bleeding

Here is what I thought of Sponge's album, “Stop The Bleeding.” Remember – all scores are out of a possible 10 points.

Star” - The repetitive lyrics made me a bit annoyed, but overall a decent song. Score: 6

Destroy The Boy” - A fun upbeat rock song. Great energy and fun vocals make this track memorable. I can hear this playing on Y98. Score: 8

Dare To Breathe” - A different style of vocals and a more laid back melody comprise this track. I can here this one on an easy listening station. That said, this track is completely forgettable. Score: 5

Fade From View” - Musically, this track is all over the place. It makes it kind of hard to get a groove going when you change the tempo so frequently. The lyrics are good and the vocals are the highlight of the track. Score: 6

Come In From The Sun” - I loved the energy and the vocals on this track. This rocker is made for Y98 listeners. Keep doing this boys – I likey. Score: 10

Before The End” - A perfect combination of hard rocking rhythms and emotionally real vocals. I liked everything about this song from start to finish. Score: 10

Dance Floor” - This is just an odd song. If they had left out the odd time signatures it would have been more enjoyable. But once the groove got going they added in these odd segues that threw the whole song off. Score: 4

Time In A Bottle” - Oh for fuck sake. This cover version of Jim Croce's hit is a major miss and the Transformer sound effects pissed me off. Score: 0

What Were You Doing Outside” - Do yourself a favor and hit the next button on this one. Nothing to hear here. Score: 0

Life's Bitter Pills” - Not really sure what this one is all about, but it isn't horrible. The vocals are OK but the music falters here and there. I loathe filler tracks.     Score: 3

Alcohol and Speed” - A solid rock track. Why didn't they do more of this? This track has swagger and balls – two qualities I adore. Score: 9

Average Track Score: 5.6 Would I recommend this to my friends? Um, no. Sponge seems to be dealing with an identity crisis. I wish they would just pick a direction.

Krystal Keith - Whiskey & Lace

Here is what I thought about Krystal Keith's album, “ Whiskey & Lace.” Remember – all scores are out of a possible 10 points.

Doin' It” - I am a bit confused. What is everyone doing? Listening to music? Drinking? Or are you talking about sex Krystal? The music is fun enough, but the lyrics left me scratching my head. Score: 6

Can't Buy You Money” - This mid-tempo track has what I like most – swagger. The music reminded me of “Harper Valley PTA” which is a good thing. Krystal sold me on this one with her blues inspired vocals. Score: 9

What Did You Think I'd Do” - This track reminded me of 90's country. Non-threatening, catchy, and easy on the ears. The only problem is I can quickly forget this one as I continue on my journey for emotionally real songs. Plus the very end of the song pissed me off. Score: 6

Daddy Dance With Me” - This is what I am talking about. Krystal dug deep with her vocals and killed me with this gorgeous ballad. I think country queens have a new anthem to dance with their daddies on their wedding day. Score: 9

Cabo San Lucas” - And we are back to filler. Another easy listening, emotionally real devoid track. It was nice to hear, but it made me feel nothing. Score: 5

Him And This Tattoo” - Now this is a fun track. Upbeat music and clever lyrics are the highlights of this song. I do like the tone of Krystal's voice. I wish she would do more songs in this vein. Score: 8

Beautiful Weakness” - This track is gorgeous from beginning to end. I would love to know who the male vocalist who accompanied Krystal on this track is – his voice gives me life. What more can I say? Go listen to this one and drift away. Score: 10

Down Into Muddy Water” - We are back to the swagger and I like it! Girl, this is your strong suit you should do this more. Stop trying to be Jimmy Buffet and be more Miranda Lambert. Score: 10

Get Your Redneck On” - Headslap – back to filler. This easy listening song is good filler, but it is still a filler track. Another Jimmy Buffet wannabe track, but I will say this – Krystal's voice is heaven. Score: 6

Whiskey And Lace” - Krystal ends the album on a high note with this upbeat rocker. Once again it is the swagger in the vocals that sold me on this track. The lyrics are pretty top notch, but it is the swagger that sells. Score: 9

Average Track Score: 7.8 Would I recommend this to my friends? Sure. Overall, the album works. But I will warn them about the feel good easy listening tracks.

Natalia Kills - Trouble

Here is what I thought of Natalia Kills' album, "Trouble." Remember - all scores are out of a possible 10 points.

Television” - If you take away the very beginning and the ending of the song you would have a very decent pop song. But those two elements kind of ruin the song for me. Score: 7

Problem” - This song totally got my butt shaking. A great groove and fun lyrics. I deem this track DQW. (Drag Queen Worthy) Score: 9

Stop Me” - Everything on this track works. The music got my pulse racing, the vocals are dark and edgy, and the lyrics are superior. Another DQW track. Score: 10

Boys Don't Cry” - This song has a 50's groove – well minus the foul language. Still, it is a filler track. A good filler track, but a filler track nonetheless. Score: 5

Daddy's Girl” - Any song that samples Hall & Oates is OK by my. Well, except for this one. The lyrics are OK, but the music is just plain annoying. So annoying that I don't think I will ever listen to this one again. Score: 5

Saturday Night” - Another track that fires on all cylinders. The music is interesting, the vocal delivery is awesome, but it is the lyrics that take center stage. I love emotionally real lyrics and this song has them in spades. Score: 10

Devils Don't Fly” - I like how the music is a bit subdued on this track allowing Natalia's voice to be the focus. Her vocal delivery of these excellent lyrics is almost poetic. Score: 9

Outta Time” - This song's lyrics may be how her relationship is out of time, but I am of of patience with this track. Sa-nore! The music is boring and the lyrics are only slightly better. Next! Score: 3

Controversy” - A bunch of random words make up the lyrics of this song. That alone would annoy me, but the music is kick ass which make up for that fact.    Score: 7

Rabbit Hole” - This track annoyed me quite a bit. The whole vibe seemed overly juvenile and reminded me too much of MIA's “Bad Girls.” I can live without ever hearing this one again. Score: 3

Watching You” - Did this song ever decide to start? Natalia, if you thought the chorus was going to save this song you were dead wrong. Nothing to listen to here folks, move along. Score: 0

Marlboro Lights” - Natalia shoots for some emotional realness on this one and achieves it with limited success. In the beginning I was interested, but as the track drones on my mind began to wander. Score: 4

Trouble” - This song does have some merit – the chorus is catchy enough. But overall this track is a pass for me. Nothing compelling to make me want to hear it again. Score: 5

Average Track Score: 5.9 Would I recommend this to my friends? I am on the fence about this one. There are some successes, but a bit of editing would have helped this album.

Ministry - From Beer To Eternity

Here is what I thought of Ministry’s album, “From Beer To Eternity.” Remember – all scores are out of a possible ten points.

Disclaimer: I am a HUGE Ministry fan.

Hail To His Majesty (Peasants)” - Welcome back Ministry – where the hell have you been? This track is dark and angry – just how I like my Ministry. If this track does not get your head bobbing, there may be something wrong with your soul. Score: 7

Punch In The Face” - Not much in the way of lyrics, but the music is super aggressive and crunchy. This is the perfect song to get those pits swirling. Score: 7

PermaWar” - Did Ministry sample Obama? You know your Presidency doesn't count until Ministry enshrines your voice in a song. A decent enough track – deep groove and political lyrics. Score: 6

Perfect Storm” - Interesting – a song about climate change. A bit preachy, but this rocker drives home the message in a metal way. Score: 8

Fairly Unbalanced” - Any song that exposes Fox News for the propaganda machine they are is OK by me. They lyrics are interesting and the music kicks ass. Score: 10

The Horror” - A song about “legitimate” rape. This song deals with a very heavy subject that should not ever be taken lightly nor trivialized. The song samples Todd Akin – who was my personal representative. I had put his horrible soundbite far back in the recesses of my mind and now here it is again. While the song may not be my favorite musically, the subject matter makes it worth a listen. Score: 6

Side Fx Include Mikey's Middle Finger (TV 4)” - Parts of this song reminded me of tracks from A Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste but then it just goes for the rails into the land of annoying. Score: 4

Lesson Unlearned” - I liked the female vocals on this track – but that is about all. The music isn't that interesting an the song really doesn't go anywhere. Score: 2

Thanx But No Thanx” - At first I was like, “Ooh! Reggae!” and then the harsh lyrics started and kind of turned me off. I get where they were going with this one, but seriously, there are other ways to accomplish these goals. Score: 5

Change Of Luck” - There were aspects of the music that I liked, but overall I just didn't get the vibe. Score: 2

Enjoy The Quiet” - A conceptual piece that I will never listen to again. Score: 0

Average Track Score: 5.2 Would I recommend this to my friends? Probably not. If Ministry would ever come up in conversation I might be like, “Oh, did you know Ministry put a new album out?” But other than that I don't see how.

Jessica Hernandez and the Deltas - Demons EP

Here is what I thought of Jessica Hernandez and the Deltas' EP, “Demons.” Remember – all scores are out of a possible 10 points.

Demons” - I love the tone of Jessica's voice. It makes me want to listen to more of her songs. The song itself is sexy and intriguing. Hello Jessica, it is nice to meet you. Score: 8

Caught Up” - This rocker has balls – and I like balls. The singer's voice has that texture that makes me sit up and take notice. Overall a fun song that I will go back to again. Score: 8

Big Town” - I am getting a burlesque feel from this song. The track is delicious from start to end and highlights the back up band which is wonderful. Score: 9

Shadow Boy” - I liked the dark tone of the lyrics, but the music was all over the place. I like that Jessica is not afraid to go dark, but the music must be tighter.    Score: 5

Picture Me With You (Carnie Threesome)” - The lyrics and vocals are fun on this track. It also gives about half the song for the backup band to shine. A good track, but not a great one. Score: 7

Average Track Score: 7.4 Would I recommend this to my friends? Yes. Mainly due to the fact that this is something different and I like different.
